Harkaway Riverdance

Harkaway Riverdance, AKA "Lizzie" is a 8 year old Registered Irish Draught mare out of Misty River Lass by Mountain Pearl. She has a wonderful stride, good temperament and a joy to ride. She is very versatile and loves to jump. She is very willing to do whatever is asked of her.

Lizzie had a very successful 2005 show season. Lizzie was shown Dressage and received Reserve Champion High Percentage for her division at the year end awards banquet along with Thrid place for High Points in her division. Since her show debut, Lizzie has been chilling around the farm.

Lacykate is a 10 year old Thoroughbred who raced until 2002. She is out of Moran's Irish by Justtofit

In Loving Memory of Misty River Lass

Misty departed this world November 26, 2006. She was a wonderful mare, great mother and a good companion. Misty will be missed by all. As Maggi would say, "Misty waits with many others for us at the Rainbow Bridge".

Misty River Lass aka "Misty", a 16.3 h RID was imported from Ireland and previously owned by Harkaway Farms.This is what Maggi has to say about Misty: "She is from the legendary King of Diamonds jumping family (and is thus related to such Grand Prix jumpers as Hopes are High, Mill Pearl, Millstreet Ruby and Special Envoy). She is half sister to Killian II who won Team and Individual silver medals at the 1996 European Championships for Young Riders. Many of her sire's progeny are now making a name for themselves in the jumping arena and eventing field.

Her dam is half sister to the great Clonfert and brings several crosses to the more rare bloodlines of Woodranger and Comet.
